ECOS, along with the EPA, held a TRI Webinar on November 18th from 2-4PM (EST). The discussion focused on "TRI Web Based Tools: What’s New and Emerging". This Webinar was attended by over 150 diverse TRI stake-holders including representatives of federal and state agencies, local government, research institutions, industry, and non-profit associations.
This Webinar was designed to discuss and demonstrate some of the improvements to the TRI Web-based tools: TRI Explorer, TRI.Net and Envirofacts. Additionally, the Webinar demonstrated one of U.S. EPA’s tools that is still under development called the Toxics Release Inventory – Chemical Hazard Information Profiles (TRI-CHIP). Lastly, a preview of the latest TRI tool in production – the TRI Mobile Application – was introduced.
